Ted Brightwell, Owner - Staff

Co-owner Ted Brightwell brings 30 years of experience in the salon and day spa industry to his Visions clientele.  Always an innovator in beauty and skin care in the Kanawha Valley, Ted began his career in salons at The Diamond and Stone & Thomas department stores.  There he trained extensively in skin care with the famed Adrien Arpel and received hands-on training in hair cutting and styling through the renowned Glemby International salon. 
 Through his many years in the independent salon industry, Ted has remained on the cutting edge of style and techniques by attending training in Washington, D.C., Cleveland, Cincinnati and New York.  He continues to do so today and is currently enrolled in a full course of hair design though New York’s Matrix Global Academy.
 Although Ted specializes in women’s and men’s cuts and color, including corrective color, he also enjoys creating special occasion styles as well.  Nothing makes him happier than helping transform a client into a radiant bride or the most stylish girl at the prom.
 Ted believes his service should extend well beyond the salon environment.  He readily offers his clients advice and recommends the top professional treatment and products for use at home.
